Welcome to the Biology section of AESA STEM Academy!
The Biology program will accept students grades 6-12 who are interested in general biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology. Whether you simply have an interest in biology and want to learn more or have a topic you want to explore, we welcome all!
The program will include both textbook learning as well as practical application of the learned material in our lab. The content of the course and lab material can be tailored to fit the strengths and interests of individual students. This program is ideal for students interested in biology who would like to acquire laboratory experience and conduct experiments. Graduates of the AESA STEM Academy will also receive individualized mentorship to submit their projects in science fairs including AESA’s Science Olympiad or the LA County Science Fair.
